The jove Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona will offer fur different symphonic programs at the Palau de la Música Catalana in the 21/22 season.

It is great news for the JOSB to collaborate with the Palau and with different fundations such as AFAB, Cáritas, Banc dels Aliments  and Mans a les Mans to offer a large part of the our Season.

Sunday October 3, opening concert of the VII Season of the Jove Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona conducted by Carlos Checa at the Palau de la Música Catalana.

Charirity concert in favor of the AFAB, the Asociación de familiares enfermos de Alzheimer de BArcelona , ​​and the program includes Suite No. 1 Peer Gynt by Eduard Grieg and the Symphony No. 9 “From the New World” by Antonin Dvorak.

On Sunday, October 3, you have an appointment at 5:30 p.m. at the Palau de la Música Catalana with tickets from 7 euros.

JOSB Tour from October 8 to 12!!

The Jove Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona, conducted by  Carlos Checa  with a wondefull program that includes Suite no.1 Peer Gynt by Grieg Op. 46,  and the Symphony No. 9 in E minor Op.95 by A. Dvorak, will perform at the Palacio de Congresos de Ávila,  Palacio de Congresos de Salamanca and a concert in the  Church of Fuenterroble de Salvatierra (Salamanca).

We are grateful for the invitations and very excited to be able to make the third tour of the JOSB.

Maestro Josep Caballé Domenech will conduct the JOSB this Season VII in a concert on February 13, 2022 at the Palau de la Música Catalana. Concert for the benefit of Caritas.

Josep Caballé Domenech is in his ninth season as Musical Director of the Colorful Springs Philharmonic (USA) and since 2018/19 as Principal Conductor of the Moritzburg Festival (Germany). He has also held the position of General Director of the Opera and Staatskapelle of Halle (Germany) from 2013 to 2018, Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Bogotá (Colombia) in 2018, as well as the position of Guest Principal Conductor of the Norköping Symphony in Sweden from 2005 to 2007.

Christian Vásquez return to the JOSB

Maestro Christian Vásquez, who works regularly with numerous orchestras around the world and stands out as one of the most sought-after Venezuelan conductors today, returns in Season VII to conduct the JOSB. The concert will be on Sunday, May 15 at the Palau de la Música Catalana and for the benefit of the Mans a las Mans Foundation.

Rubén Gimeno will conduct the last concert of the VII Season

Rubén Gimeno has been the Principal Conductor of the Vallés Symphony Orchestra from 2009 until the 15/16 season.He served as Artistic Director of the Young Orchestra of the Galician Symphony for six years, tasks that he combined with the position of violinist of the Galician Symphony Orchestra.

As a guest conductor, Spanish orchestras, such as the Galicia Symphony Orchestra, the National Orchestra of Spain, the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, the Basque Country Orchestra, the Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra, the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra, the Symphonic Orchestra of Castilla y León, Orchestra of Malaga, Orchestra of Valencia, Orchestra of Barcelona and National Orchestra of Catalonia, City of Granada Orchestra, Oviedo Philharmonic, Orchestra of the Community of Madrid, Orchestra of the Palau de las Artes and Orchestra of the Gran Teatro del Liceo.
